2.What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data, most of which you provide directly when you subscribe:

  • Identity & contact data: email address, first name and last name.
  • Professional data: job title and LinkedIn profile URL.
  • Preference data: your AI focus, the content types you wish to receive, and your self-described AI expertise level.
  • Consent data: your consent status and the date of consent or withdrawal.
  • Engagement data: email opens, clicks, and unsubscribe events.
  • Technical data: server and technical logs, device and browser information, and similar data collected automatically when you use the site.

3.How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

  • send you our weekly briefings and related communications you have requested;
  • personalize the content and recommendations we provide to your level and interests;
  • manage your subscription preferences and consent;
  • verify eligibility for challenges, bonuses, or access where applicable;
  • detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, and security issues;
  • measure engagement and improve our content and services; and
  • comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

4.LinkedIn Profile Use

If you provide a LinkedIn profile, we may review the submitted profile and related publicly visible information to understand professional context, verify eligibility for challenges or bonuses, and personalize relevant educational content.

5.Email Tracking

We use Brevo to deliver our emails. Brevo may track opens, clicks, and unsubscribes so that we can measure how relevant our content is and reduce unwanted emails. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.

6.Legal Basis & Consent (EU / UK Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following lawful bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR:

  • Consent — for sending you marketing and educational emails. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests, or consent where required — for personalizing content and verifying eligibility, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
  • Legal obligation — for keeping records we are required to retain.

7.US & California Users

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you rights to know what personal information we collect, to access and delete it, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell your personal information. You may exercise these rights using the contact details in Section 1, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

8.Service Providers

We share personal data with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:

  • Brevo — email delivery, subscription forms, and engagement tracking.
  • Supabase — database storage of subscriber and profile data.
  • Webflow — website hosting.
  • Google Analytics — website analytics and usage measurement.

We do not currently use third-party large language model (LLM) providers to process your personal data. If this changes, we will update this Policy before doing so.

9.Data Retention

We keep your contact and profile data for as long as you remain subscribed or as long as needed for the purposes described here. We retain consent and unsubscribe records for as long as necessary to demonstrate compliance. Where you make a valid request, we will delete or anonymize your data where we are able to do so, subject to any legal retention requirements.

10.Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, request its deletion, unsubscribe from our emails, and withdraw your consent at any time. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email, or contact us at info@propagated.ai to exercise any of these rights. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11.Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12.International Transfers

We use global service providers, so your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including outside the EEA, the UK, and the United States. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.
